I Say Prakrti, You Say What. Prakrti —

According to Ayurveda, our natural state of being — our baseline of balance — is called Prakrti.

Weird word, I know. But hear me out.

Prakrti is the state of harmony we’re meant to live in: physical, mental, and spiritual balance. You know it when you’re there — you feel strong, clear, resilient, happy, and buoyant. (Basically, the best version of yourself.)

When we stray from that state, we enter what’s called Vkrti — a state of imbalance. This is when we feel “off.” Maybe you feel run down, don’t sleep well, catch every cold, or crave things that make you feel worse. (For me, it’s late-night crackers and cheese with a side of Netflix. For you, it might be sweets, fried food, or “just one more hour” of work.)

Vkrti is your body’s way of saying: something’s not quite right.

This imbalance can be caused by all sorts of modern mischief — food that doesn’t suit you, a routine that drains you, environmental stress, overwork, or emotional strain.

Knowing your Prakrti (your unique constitution) and your Vkrti (your current imbalance) gives you a map to return to balance. We identify what’s gone off course, address the root cause, and support your system through diet, lifestyle, herbs, and daily self-care.

In essence, we guide you back to who you are at your best.

You can start right now by asking yourself:

How do I feel today?

Notice what feels off. Dry or inflamed skin? Hot flashes? Mood swings? Bloating or constipation? Feeling blocked or heavy? (If your answer is “all of the above,” don’t worry — this is many of us.)

If you’d like help finding your way back to your Prakrti — your natural balance — let’s talk.
