What is an ayurvedic consultation like?
In a nutshell: an Ayurvedic consultation is a conversation.
We’ll spend about 90 minutes talking about your health, your daily routines, your concerns, and what you’d like support with.
I’ll ask lots of questions, including questions about digestion and elimination, sleep, energy levels, stress, and other patterns that may be influencing how you’re feeling.
Talking through all of this helps us understand what’s going on underneath it all.
Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, we’ll look at the bigger picture and begin connecting the dots between your daily doings, environment, and overall wellbeing.
After our session, I’ll create a personalized wellness plan that may include recommendations around food, daily routines, movement, stress management, sleep, and Ayurvedic herbal support when appropriate.
And in case you’re worried — this is not a total life overhaul.
My approach is practical, realistic, and doable. The goal is helping you better understand your body and finding simple ways to support it that can actually fit into your real life.
Most consultations take place over Google Meet, though we can also meet in person if you’re in Indianapolis.
We’ll typically meet again about six weeks later to check in, answer questions, and adjust the plan as needed.
