So, there’s this thing.

Maybe something’s been happening with your digestion. Maybe you’ve had this skin thing for a while. Your sleep has been off. Your energy isn’t what it used to be. You’ve been feeling more anxious lately. Or maybe you can’t quite put your finger on it—you just know you haven’t been feeling like yourself.

Whatever it is, you’ve noticed. And you’re wondering what’s going on.

Ayurveda gives us a way to look beyond the symptom, understand the bigger picture, and find a manageable place to start.

Your symptom isn’t the whole story

Your digestion isn’t separate from your sleep isn’t separate from your stress isn’t separate from your daily routine.

Bodies are funny that way.

Everything is connected — which is why Ayurveda zooms out instead of looking at one symptom in isolation.

We look at you: your health history, digestion, sleep, stress, food, routines, tendencies, and what’s happening in your life right now. And we start looking for patterns.

The symptom gives us a place to begin. The bigger picture helps us understand what to do next.

You don’t need to figure all those connections out yourself.

That’s my job.

We’ll start right where you are — and make a plan for where you want to go.

Your plan will be personal: your health, your life, what feels doable right now, and what will make the most meaningful difference.

And then we take it one step at a time.

Penelope Dullaghan

Hi, I’m Penny.

I’m a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, and this is the work I love: sitting down with a real person, hearing what’s going on, and figuring out how all the pieces fit together.

Then we find a way forward that makes sense for you—not some imaginary person with unlimited time, energy, and enthusiasm for healthy living.

In their own words

“I quite honestly can’t put into words how amazing the shift has been. I’m knocking it out of the park on how I’m structuring my meals and feel that my creativity is flowing on another level. I’ve felt so much more energy since I’ve committed to the changes. My sweet cravings and snacking have also pretty much disappeared!!!

This honestly feels like magic!

“Working with Penny was a joyful experience.  She met me where I was in my search for health and balance. I found it easy to incorporate her suggestions into my everyday life and have noticed changes in my body’s ability to digest food. I feel lighter, more connected to my body and empowered to make good choices for my body.”

"Penny has shared her wisdom and support of me as I start to make healthier decisions in my life. We have worked to address my immediate needs, but she also helped me create a plan so that I can maintain my success. I like Penny's approach, a 1 degree change at a time. This has made my goals feel obtainable and I am more successful because of it. I still have many degree changes to go, but I have started and already see a difference using Ayurveda practices."

Clinical Ayurvedic Consultation + Follow-Up Care

We’ll have 90 minutes together to really dig into what’s been going on. We’ll look at your health history, digestion, sleep, stress, food, daily routines, and other parts of your life that may help us understand what’s happening now.

We’ll also talk about your Ayurvedic constitution and where I see signs of imbalance, so you begin to understand your health through an Ayurvedic lens.

After we meet, I’ll spend time putting everything together and create a personalized plan for you, with a clear place to begin and a path forward. Depending on what you need, that might include shifts in food or daily routine, Ayurvedic practices, or herbal formulations.

You’ll have about five weeks to try your recommendations and see how you feel. Then we’ll meet again to talk about what’s changed, what’s working, what’s been challenging, and what makes sense from here.

People commonly seek support for:

  • Digestive issues and gut health

  • Sleep concerns

  • Stress and nervous system overwhelm

  • Fatigue and low energy

  • Hormonal transitions

  • Inflammation and recurring symptoms

  • Skin concerns

  • Building sustainable habits that support long-term wellbeing

In Ayurveda, we look at the whole picture of you.

We’ll explore both your natural baseline (prakriti) and what may be pulling you out of balance right now (vikriti) — physically, mentally, emotionally, and in the rhythms of daily life.

Whether you’re seeking support for digestion, sleep, stress, hormonal shifts, inflammation, fatigue, or a more complex chronic symptoms, the goal is the same: understanding the patterns contributing to imbalance and identifying practical ways to support your health.

Diet (Ahara)

Your body has wisdom. Let’s tune into that together. This isn’t about giving up everything you love or eating some mysterious “Ayurvedic diet.”

It is about noticing how food affects you. The same meal can be grounding for one person and completely destabilizing for another.

We look at digestion, energy, mood, and timing — then make small, realistic adjustments so nourishment supports you instead of working against you.

Chocolate is not banned. Coffee is not confiscated.

But your body does get a vote.

Daily Rhythm (Vihara)

You can eat all the foods that support you and still feel terrible if your days are chaotic and your nervous system never gets a break.

Vihāra looks at how you move through your day — sleep, work, rest, movement, and downtime  — and how those rhythms affect how you feel.

Often, the most powerful shifts aren’t dramatic changes, but subtle ones: when you eat, how you start your morning, or how you wind down at night.

This is where life starts to feel less like a grind and a lot more steady.

Herbs (Dravyas)

Ayurvedic herbs aren’t the same as supplements or vitamins. And they’re not quick-fix medications that simply mask symptoms and send you on your way.

When herbs are used, they’re chosen carefully to support digestion, calm inflammation, ease stress, or strengthen depleted systems — always in context and always in relationship to the whole you.

Think of them as helpers — not magic bullets — working alongside food and daily habits to nudge the body back toward balance.
