My story

A woman stands outdoors holding a smartphone in her hands, looking to the left with a thoughtful expression. She has dark hair tied back, is wearing a white t-shirt, an Apple Watch, and sunglasses on her head. There are plants in the foreground and a wooden fence in the background.
A pattern of multicolored circles on a green background, with orange, black, and blue circles arranged in a grid.

I ignored the warning signs—mostly because I didn’t know they were warning signs. Poor sleep. Irritability. A gurgly tummy. I thought it was just life. Nothing serious. So I pushed through, like most of us do.

Then my body froze up. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in my mid-40s. It even hurt to hold a paintbrush. All my bloodwork came back normal, and doctors just scratched their heads. “Here’s this prescription. Have a good day.”

It felt hopeless.

That’s when I turned to Ayurveda.

With the support of a practitioner, I made small, steady shifts to my diet and lifestyle. And slowly, my body started to feel better. My sleep improved. My digestion calmed. The irritability faded.

I started feeling like myself again.

But the shift that surprised me most? My creativity changed. It felt lighter. More fluid. Less like wrestling and more like flow.

It was like Neo in the Matrix when he uploads kung fu. Do you know that part? He turns his head, fights one-handed, doesn’t even break a sweat. That’s how my creativity felt.

That experience changed everything.

I became a certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and started Creative Ayurveda to help other creative people—like you—feel that same shift.

Because when your body feels good, your creativity flows.

And you don’t have to wait for burnout or a diagnosis to begin.
